The GRTC Board of Directors recently committed to extend zero-fare through at least June 2024 thanks to continued advocacy and support. Since March 19, 2020, GRTC has been zero-fare to ride the Local Bus, Pulse (Bus Rapid Transit), Express Bus, and CARE/Paratransit vans. This positively affects essential workers, mothers and their children, and senior citizens who rely on public transit services to reach jobs, food, healthcare, and other critical community resources.
But there is still more to be done! GRTC was originally granted $8 million dollars for zero-fare through June 2025, but GRTC still has not committed to ensuring zero-fare through the fiscal year 2025. Sign below if you support Zero Fare rides!
