Dear , Last December, the Virginia Interfaith Power & Light staff and I visited Ginter Park Botanical Gardens for inspiration. We came across an art installation with the following musing: “Waking up to a new day And a hot cup of coffee Helping my community, mutual aid, and community care In the mornings, sharing blessings, witnessing kindness Voting…” I was moved by it because the writer suggests that civic participation and caring for neighbors are part of a typical day's activity. I long for this to be our reality. My hope is that we may all recognize voting is as sacred an activity as serving community, and caring for the Creation. While we may not be voting for president or governor, this election is as important. This election will be closely watched by many. Our vote is our voice, and we want you to be heard this November 8th. We have gathered resources for the entire season to inspire and inform you. We hope you and your community will find these tools helpful to be an informed voter. Please download and share our new Faith Voter Toolkit and Faith Voter Calendar for the information you may need this election season!
